**About PMC Regulators**

We produce high performance Australian-made regulators, suppling to manufacturing, mining, and automotive industries, as well as retail distributors.

**Position Purpose**

The successful applicant will be working with a small, transparent, agile team to process orders, develop and implement product and range changes, and support moving the business forward by driving sales, distribution channels, and developing our products.

The role is based on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility available for working hours.

The successful applicant will either have experience with, or a working knowledge in the mechanics of gas regulators, or be willing and able to develop a working expertise in them, as well as related fields. This aspect of the role is critical to the applicant's ability to successfully meet the needs of the role.

Given the above, the view of PMC is to seek an applicant who is interested in a long-term career with PMC Regulators, in which they can learn, develop, and grow.

The position requires a collaborative individual who can take responsibility for identifying market needs and product opportunities, and can communicate their ideas and solutions with the team. **Role outline & required skills**
- Your role working with the PMC team_ _will involve: _
- Initiating, developing, and sustaining business relationships in trade and retail markets. A strong written and verbal communication skillset is required, including the ability to handle professional, telephone-based customer service enquiries.
- Driving product and manufacturing development through systemic reviews of local and international standards, including directly and peripherally relevant Australian Standards. A strong analytical and systemic approach to outcomes is required.
- Developing forecasts and maintaining adequate inventory to meet short and medium term forecasts. A background in sales, marketing, or business operations would be advantageous.
- Developing and documenting product assembly procedures as need arises. A strong set of soft skills, such as using word processors and spreadsheets is required.
- Ensuring print and online catalogues are current and accurate, and developing existing data-sheets to meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Providing product support, including the processing of orders, which will include the assembly of products, and co-ordination of components and packaging from suppliers. A strong eye for detail, and delivering consistency is required.

- A strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in parallel, set goals, and use initiative to prioritise.
- A strong ability to compartmentalise, prioritise, problem-solve, and remain adaptable.

**A Typical Day**

We expect your typical day might include:

- Reviewing your inbox and following up on any outstanding enquiries, such as taking new orders or updating customers on fulfilment or delivery dates.
- Reviewing your dashboard for new and current projects, which might include validating the inventory data, contacting suppliers to arrange purchases and manufacturing, or reaching out to potential distributors.
- Conducting market research to develop new, or update product data sheets to suit previously untargeted markets.
- Fulfilling an incoming order, replenishing our product inventory, or arranging shipments to an international buyer.
- Taking a walk to Warringah Mall to pick up your lunch or completing some of your personal errands.
- Reviewing our website, or other sales channels, to ensure our listed data is correct, or working on enhancing the retail experience, for the benefit of the customer, or our own internal workflows.
- Reviewing International or Australian Standards and how they relate to our products, and work with our team to update technical drawings if required.

As this is a results-driven role where the needs of an expanding business can be dynamic, PMC is prepared to develop the applicants position as the business needs grow, with suiting remuneration.
