Perth, Western Australia Burgess Personnel Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Storeperson / Logistics Roles – Perth Metro & FIFO, Pilbara WA – (Competitive pay negotiable on experience)

Burgess Personnel partners with leading engineering and resources contractors across Western Australia.

We're currently seeking experienced Storepersons and Logistics professionals for both Perth-based and FIFO project opportunities.

1. Storeperson – Perth Workshop (Non-FIFO)

  • Long-term position within a high-tech, international engineering and fabrication workshop
  • Hands-on BAU stores operations including receivals, dispatch, materials handling and inventory control
  • Work directly with the Workshop Manager on process improvement initiatives – reviewing freight carriers, receivals/dispatch efficiency, and overall best-practice stores systems
  • Strong focus on organisation, safety and continuous improvement
  • Fantastic culture of employee development
  • Monday to Friday roster, overtime available

Ideal Background:

  • Experience in stores, warehousing or materials coordination within engineering or manufacturing
  • Current LF Forklift licence
  • Proactive, organised and confident contributing to system and workflow improvements

2. Logistics Storepersons – FIFO (2:1 Roster, Pilbara Region)

  • Multiple positions available on a large-scale renewable energy project in the Pilbara. This existing project is anticipated to last for 12 months and be followed by another, larger project.
  • Responsible for tool store operations, yard coordination, materials movement and logistics support
  • Flights, meals and accommodation provided
  • Telehandler licence essential
  • HR, Dogging or C6 tickets highly regarded

Ideal Background:

  • Experience in logistics, stores or yard operations within construction or mining projects
  • Strong understanding of site safety, materials flow and equipment coordination
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced FIFO environment
