Boom Logistics are currently seeking experienced Diesel Mechanicsfor ongoing, full-time role at our East Rockingham business location.

Role Key Points:

  • Mechanical assessment work on key assets
  • Flexible work roster and options available
  • Steady ongoing role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major heavy lift plant and haulage vehicles. Experience with mobile cranes is desired however not essential.

This role will include but not be limited to:

  • Undertaking and facilitating assessments of company assets
  • Performing repairs and services in accordance with work orders and scheduled services
  • Performing job safety analysis prior to commencing allocated jobs
  • Ensuring that the work area, tools and equipment are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition
  • Ensuring compliance to the organisation's Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Management System for all responsible areas
  • Operating plant as and when required
  • Working in and around our three other depots in western Australia at times when required
  • Working in remote areas at times on mine sites

Role Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification (Mechanic / Diesel Fitter)
  • Prior experience with cranes and/or lifting equipment (desirable)
  • Demonstrated commitment to working safely
  • Current Drivers Licence (HR desirable)
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent team player
