Position Title: Golf Operations Assistant, BUSSELTON GOLF CLUB

Located near the beautiful Geographe Bay, Busselton Golf Club is one of the best courses in the Southwest of West Australia. Set on a manicured paradise through lush woodlands, the golf course is a challenging and rewarding par-72, enjoyable for players of all standards.

Founded in 1907, the award-winning Busselton Golf Club is open to its 870 members & social players 7 days a week and boasts exceptional facilities, including the Clubhouse Café and Bar. The golf shop is fully stocked with all the major brands, ready to be fitted to your personal specifications.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team at Busselton Golf Club as a Golf Operations Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the golf club facility, ensuring a positive experience for all members and guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of tee time reservations and ensure an efficient flow of play on the golf course.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests and members, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

  • Assist in the coordination of golf tournaments and events, including registration and scoring.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the golf shop, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and stocked.

  • Assist with the inventory management of golf equipment and supplies.

  • Operate the golf cart fleet, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.

  • Assist in the implementation of marketing initiatives to promote the golf facility and increase participation.

  • Assist in the coordination of golf tournaments and events, including registration and scoring

  • Assist in the coordination of Group bookings

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a golf or hospitality environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in computer applications.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Excellent personal presentation

  • Willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.

  • RSA / Approved Manager or willingness to obtain.

This is a permanent position under the Registered & Licensed Clubs Award 2020.
