Overview:

A Federal Government client requires multiple Dynamics resources to join their Case Management Solution Program team. The multi-year program will replace a range of legacy business applications with a new platform (D365 Customer Service). The program is currently in delivery phase with the platform operating as an MVP for two business areas. Their offices are in Melbourne or Sydney but they operate a very flexible WFH arrangement.

General Responsibilities:

  • Apply software development and security standards, including coding, testing, debugging, and recovery processes.
  • Estimate development effort, document components, ensure test coverage, manage change control, and resolve issues.
  • Take technical responsibility across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Design and specify complex applications, components, and modules, ensuring alignment with architectural vision.
  • Lead integration, deployment, and configuration activities, adopting appropriate tools, methods, and risk controls.
  • Drive adoption of policies, standards, and practices while adapting and developing new organisational capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and feedback, fostering growth of individuals and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Deliver MS D365 and Power Platform solutions, ensuring system architecture and integration align with strategic goals.

Tech Stack:

  • Programming C# for Dynamics 365 development, particularly for plugins, custom workflows, and web resources and JavaScript for client-side scripting in forms and web resources.
  • Customization of entities, forms, views, charts, and dashboards.
  • Configuration of business rules, workflows, business process flows, and actions.
  • Integration of Dynamics with other systems using APIs, web services, or third- party tools like Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow), or custom integrations.
  • Usage of PowerApps for extending Dynamics 365 capabilities.
  • Using Power BI for reporting and data visualization from Dynamics 365.
  • Usage of Power Automate for automating processes.
  • Usage of SQL Server for database operations, queries, and data management in relation to Dynamics 365.
  • Deployment strategies, environments management, and version control using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Visual Studio Online.
  • Management of security roles, field security profiles, and understanding of Dynamics 365 security model
  • Usage of UX design principles to enhance usability within Dynamics 365 customizations.
  • Usage of tools like XrmToolBox for various development and troubleshooting tasks.

What is on offer and required:

  • Previous experience of working in a government setting is highly desirable.
  • Australian citizenship is mandatory. With the ability to apply for / or already possess a Baseline Security clearance.
  • 12-month contracts with attractive hourly rates
