Your impact

We're seeking a Lead Digital Engineer to join our Structures team in Sydney, playing a key role in delivering major infrastructure and building projects across water, defence, transport, and general buildings. This is a leadership opportunity for someone passionate about digital innovation, large-scale project delivery, and team development.

As Lead Digital Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and leading BIM and digital delivery strategies across major projects, including Revit setup, modelling standards and digital workflows. You will oversee project digital delivery from initial setup through coordination and execution planning, ensuring alignment with both client and company standards. In addition to guiding and mentoring a team of modellers and digital engineers, you may also lead a small team depending on your experience. Collaboration will be key as you work across disciplines and geographies to promote global integrated delivery and drive innovation. You will contribute to bids and proposals, strengthening the technical capability and strategic growth of the business. A strong advocate for learning and development, you will support career progression and performance alignment within the team. You will also support project resourcing and play a role in shaping Jacobs' technology and intellectual property within the ANZ Structures team.

Here's what you'll need

We're looking for someone who can bridge the gap between digital expertise and large project delivery.

• Expert-level Revit experience and deep knowledge of BIM workflows.
• Strong consulting industry experience, ideally on large complex infrastructure or building projects.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate structural digital delivery with other disciplines.
• Experience with structural design, analysis, BIM software and a solid understanding of ANZ digital delivery standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and team development.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and drive innovation.
