About the Role:As a Systems & DFMEA Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring product safety, robustness, and reliability. You'll work at the intersection of design, validation, and quality, applying systems thinking and structured risk management tools to complex electro-mechanical systems.

You'll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to:

  • Lead DFMEA development and facilitate cross-functional risk reviews.
  • Define and maintain system requirements and traceability across hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Link test plans to DFMEA outputs to verify design robustness.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce design risks.
  • Mentor engineers in systems thinking, risk analysis, and design assurance.

About You: You're an analytical, systems-minded engineer with a passion for delivering quality and reliability. You enjoy solving complex technical problems, guiding design teams through risk-based decision-making, and improving product performance through data and collaboration.

You'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Systems Engineering.
  • At least 7 years' experience in design or systems engineering within complex electro-mechanical or power electronics environments.
  • Proven expertise in DFMEA facilitation and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
  • Experience collaborating across hardware, software, validation, and manufacturing teams.
  • Excellent documentation, analysis, and communication skills.

Desirable:

Experience with EV charging systems, functional safety (ISO 26262 / IEC 61508), or reliability engineering tools.
