Christian Community Ministries (CCM) was established in 2003 to provide administrative, financial, development and human resource services to a growing network of Christian schools throughout Australia. Today, it owns and operates fifteen schools, eight in Queensland, two in New South Wales, one in the ACT, three in South Australia, two in Western Australia and an outdoor education facility. Early Learning Centres are associated with seven of our schools. Approximately 7,600 students receive Christian schooling through CCM. The aim of CCM is to provide a values-based, Christian education for all who desire it.

Applications are invited for the position of Administrative Services Coordinator , based at the newly established Rivers Christian College, Inverell NSW. This is a new position, tasked with developing Administrative processes and supporting the establishment of the College. The role requires strong organisational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism, playing a vital part in fostering a positive, compliant, and service-focused College culture.

Position Summary

The Administrative Services Coordinator reports to andworks closely with the College Principal, to provide vital support across a broad range of administrative functions within the College. These include, but are not limited to, general administration, student enrolments, recruitment, onboarding of new staff and ensuring compliance with College policies and procedures, student services (including first aid), and College marketing.

Role specific skills

  • Administration Coordination: Demonstrated ability to provide responsive administrative services, resolve queries efficiently, and maintain thorough documentation. Strong focus on accurate reporting, recordkeeping, and delivering professional guidance to families. employees and stakeholders.
  • Recruitment and onboarding: Experience in managing onboarding processes, preparing information for employment contracts, and maintaining accurate staffing information. Skilled in collaborating with HR contacts to collect essential information, ensuring compliance, and supporting CCM's recruitment process.
  • Student services: Demonstrated commitment to delivering timely, friendly, and consistent support to students and parents through effective management of attendance records, accurate production of absence reports, and professional liaison with parents/carers. Proven ability to coordinate school events and maintain a well-functioning first aid room, ensuring high-quality services that contribute to student wellbeing and positive engagement with the College community.
  • Marketing and communications: Proven ability to deliver efficient, timely, and high-quality communications, including the coordination of events and development of marketing materials. Strong focus on fostering positive engagement with internal and external stakeholders to support healthy relationships with families, drive enrolment enquiries, and enhance community awareness of the College in collaboration with the College Principal.
  • Compliance and policy: Demonstrated ability to provide advice and support with compliance matters, ensuring effective implementation of safety protocols and maintenance of accurate documentation. Proven capacity to collaborate with peers, colleagues, and compliance personnel to foster a safe and compliant environment for staff, students, and the wider College community.
  • Process development: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement reliable administrative processes that ensure consistency, compliance and efficiency in the establishment of a new school. Strong focus on embedding sustainable systems to support day-to-day operations and long-term organisational effectiveness.
