About the Role

As Construction / Project Director, you will take a hands-on leadership role, overseeing the construction operations of a flagship luxury development while driving excellence across project delivery, cost management, and team leadership. Initially working alongside existing leadership, you will progressively assume full responsibility for operations, ensuring seamless execution and continuity at the highest standards.

This role is ideal for a proven senior leader with extensive luxury residential and luxury multi-residential project experience (15–20 years) in key leadership positions, including a proven track record of delivering multiple projects in excess of $40m. Ambition to step into directorship and secure long-term business ownership opportunities is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the construction delivery of luxury, multi-storey residential projects with a strong emphasis on quality and detailing.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team including Senior Contract Administrators, Senior Site Managers, and other key staff.
  • Drive procurement, contract management, and financial performance across all project phases.
  • Provide strategic leadership in cost and value engineering, implementing methodologies that enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Oversee compliance, safety, and program management, ensuring all works meet or exceed standards.
  • Represent the business with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, maintaining trust and credibility at every stage.

Key Requirements

  • Registered Builder status (essential).
  • Extensive luxury residential and luxury multi-residential project experience (15–20 years) in key leadership positions.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple projects in excess of $40m.
  • Deep technical knowledge, with strong value engineering and problem-solving capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and grow construction teams.
  • Exceptional integrity, trustworthiness, and commercial acumen.
