Who We Are
We are a global technology consultancy with a trademarked, AI-first engineering approach for accelerating the delivery of digital products and revolutionizing platform modernization. We do the right thing, and we do it right. We're proud to be a World Economic Forum New Champion, and a B Corp-certified company.
About Gen-e2
While the market is still largely AI-augmenting delivery, we have reinvented the SDLC to be AI First. Our approach is a game-changer in productivity and quality:
- We now generate 95% of the entire product — code, documentation, infrastructure as code, and even design — with GitHub Copilot.
- The quality consistently exceeds the output of our best traditional engineering teams.
- A product repository houses all product artefacts, giving AI full project context for higher-quality generation.
- A library of rules and prompts defines coding standards, design principles, and security guidelines, ensuring enterprise-grade quality and scalability.
With Gen-e2, we deliver end-to-end products 2–3× faster than traditional approaches, while raising the bar for engineering excellence.
Your Role
As an Engineering Manager at PALO IT, you will lead high-impact, AI-driven engineering initiatives from discovery to delivery. You'll be accountable for technical excellence, team capability growth, and client success, ensuring every project aligns with Gen-e2 speed-to-impact model.
You will:
- Lead multi-disciplinary engineering and product teams delivering AI-driven, cloud-native, and DevSecOps-enabled solutions at scale.
- Shape technical strategy — guiding clients through transformative adoption of fully AI-driven delivery models.
- Conduct technical analysis, define solution architectures, and facilitate client workshops to define project technical approaches.
- Implement Gen-e2 best practices — from product repository artefacts to AI prompt libraries for coding standards, architecture, and security compliance.
- Upskill and coach client teams in Gen-e2 — enabling them to adopt AI-driven ways of working and embed them in their culture.
- Guide organisations in scaling Gen-e2 — creating strategies and frameworks for enterprise-wide adoption.
- Drive productivity and quality — leveraging AI to generate the majority of artefacts while enforcing rigorous review and validation processes.
- Foster AI-first engineering culture — mentoring teams to master AI-first ways of working across research, design, prototyping, backlog creation and code generation.
- Continuously experiment to practices and improve our delivery approach — leveraging the latest AI capabilities, tools, and patterns to push the boundaries of product engineering.
- Engage stakeholders — ensuring that we deliver at least 50% faster than client's expectations.
What You Bring
- Proven leadership in engineering or technical consulting roles, ideally in cloud-native, DevOps, and AI-driven environments.
- Strong background in software engineering, systems design, and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot) and prompt engineering best practices.
- Passion for AI in product engineering and a drive to continuously reinvent how we deliver products by harnessing the latest AI capabilities.
- Expertise in AWS or Azure, serverless architectures, and container orchestration.
- Mastery of DevOps practices: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation, and observability.
- Experience coaching and developing engineering teams in high-performance, agile environments.
- Experience training and enabling client teams in new delivery models or methodologies.
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and deliver business-aligned technical solutions.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale toolchains (Atlassian suite, Azure DevOps, GitHub) and platform migrations.
- A mindset that thrives in innovation, ambiguity, and change.
Why Join Us?
- AI-driven delivery culture — with AI underpinning most of what we deliver.
- Stimulating and collaborative work environments.
- International mobility and cross-office opportunities.
- Internal R&D projects and innovation labs.
- Knowledge-sharing culture and personalised training paths.
