The Role

We have a Control Room position available in South Wharf working across 12-hour rotating roster. This role will see you supporting one of our clients by providing an exceptional understanding of systems and procedures of the site.

The Tasks

  • Assist in daily operations and escalate when necessary
  • Responsible for access control, CCTV monitoring, contractor sign in, isolations, audits, incident reports, respond to email and phone enquiries, lost property, initial response for emergencies
  • Act in the role of Chief Warden when required or in the absence of the Security Manager
  • Support the Operations Supervisors
  • Assist with training for new Operators
  • Ability to work in multiple control room operator roles by following strict site policies and procedures
  • Monitor and respond to alarm activations
  • Ensure that all workplace incidents and hazards are reported in accordance with the companies' procedures

The Successful Candidate

  • A current VIC Security Providers Licence with Control Room Operator function on security licence
  • Fluent in English and the ability to write comprehensive reports
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a control room or demonstrated leadership roles
  • Ability to work in a rotating roster
  • Full Australian Work Rights
