The Why
As a member of the People and Culture team at Ubank, your role will be to provide coverage across technology, digital and customer portfolios by working closely with the Executives and business leaders. You will lead operational and strategic people initiatives, execute strategic programs of work to improve the culture, organisational maturity, employee performance and overall enterprise uplift.

*This is a 12 month Fixed term maternity leave cover

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting high-performing teams within the business and coaching leaders
  • Delivering on enterprise people programs and cyclical people processes
  • Delivering on people partnering activities such as performance management, employee relations advice (e.g. relevant award interpretation), leading culture and change, workforce planning including identifying critical capabilities and upskilling, talent management and career pathways, organisational design, policy and remuneration advice
  • Identifying people implications of a business plan, trends and metrics then designing and implementing solutions aligned with business and people priorities
  • Designing initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, capability, retention of talent and employee engagement
  • Promoting effective and agile ways of working, maximising opportunities, supporting change and managing risk
  • Leading key People & Culture projects where required

Your Experience

  • Minimum 6 years' experience as a commercial, self -driven and results oriented HR generalist
  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment delivering results
  • Experience supporting Executive level stakeholders, in banking , Fintech or Tech industry advantageous
  • Experience in the design, build and delivery of P&C operations, organisational design and development, talent management, remuneration and benefits and/or employee relations highly desirable
