Step into a pivotal role as a
SACM Asset Manager
in a major financial services organisation, where your expertise in IT asset and configuration management will directly impact operations and decision-making.

You will manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, ensure data integrity, and refine processes that keep technology running smoothly. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role, working across procurement, finance, infrastructure, and application teams, shaping the way the organisation manages its critical technology assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of all IT assets – hardware, software, cloud platforms, and applications – across their lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate, reliable, and compliant information in the IT Asset Database and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Develop, implement, and improve SACM strategies aligned with ITIL best practices.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure assets support operational and business objectives.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure visibility and understanding of SACM processes.

Skills And Experience

  • Strong experience in IT Asset and Configuration Management within large or complex organisations.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and service management principles.
  • Skilled in cross-team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage full asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
