Be part of a respected Insurance Brokerage specializing in the transport, agriculture and property sectors. With a nationwide presence, we are looking for an experienced Senior Insurance Broker to join their dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Senior Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for managing and growing a diverse portfolio of clients in the transport, agriculture and property sectors.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage, retain, service and expand existing client portfolios alongside pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Create and present formal insurance program proposals to clients.
  • Uphold a consistently high standard of client service.
  • Maintain control over debtors.
  • Prepare and schedule renewal reviews.
  • Handle new business inquiries.
  • Manage and liaise on insurance claims.
  • Address queries from clients, insurers and other stakeholders.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide informed advice.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an insurance broker, preferably with exposure to the transport, agriculture, or property industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex insurance products and provide tailored solutions to clients.
  • Sales-oriented with the capability of pursuing and closing sales of new and existing accounts
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Managerial experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

  • ASIC PS146 Tier 1 or 2
  • Privacy Legislation
  • General Insurance Brokers Code of Practice
