About the role

Austbrokers Comsure is seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our Dealer team in Spring Hill, Queensland. As an Insurance Broker, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored insurance solutions to our diverse client base. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to grow your career within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Engage with clients to understand their unique insurance needs and risk profiles
  2. Research and analyse the insurance market to identify the most suitable coverage options
  3. Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals to clients
  4. Negotiate with insurance providers to secure the best possible terms and conditions
  5. Manage the placement and renewal of client insurance policies
  6. Provide exceptional customer service with ongoing support and advice to clients, ensuring their needs are met
  7. Maintain strong relationships with insurance providers and industry networks
  8. Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Austbrokers Comsure business

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years' experience as an Insurance Broker, preferably within the brokerage industry
  2. Motor Dealer broking experience is preferable but not essential.
  3. Strong understanding of the insurance landscape, including product knowledge and market trends
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients
  5. Demonstrated success in analysing client needs, designing tailored insurance solutions, and securing favourable policy terms
  6. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth
  7. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  8. Collaborative mindset and the willingness to work within a team environment
  9. Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g. Tier 1, Diploma of Insurance Broking) are highly desirable
  10. Only applicants with current and valid Australian work rights will be considered
