Fortitude Protective Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Retail Security Supervisor to join our team in the heart of Sydney's CBD. This is a full-time role with daytime hours only—perfect for a seasoned professional looking for stability and a dynamic work environment.
About the Role:
As the Retail Security Supervisor, you will lead by example, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, customers, and stakeholders. You will be responsible for supervising on-site security operations, maintaining strong communication with retail management, and supporting your team to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of security officers in a high-traffic retail setting
- Act as the primary point of contact for client and management communication
- Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Respond to incidents professionally and efficiently
- Conduct regular patrols and ensure presence is visible and reassuring
- Provide clear incident reporting and daily activity logs
- Mentor and guide security personnel to uphold company standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Supervisor in a retail environment (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Current NSW Security Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Professional presentation and a proactive attitude
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of service
