Key Responsibilities

  • Work with local, and regional teams to design, test, and implement program innovations that improve outcomes for children;
  • Partner with leaders to prioritise and progress a portfolio of innovation projects;
  • Coach and support colleagues in innovation best practices and testing methods;
  • Develop learning plans to test ideas, reduce uncertainty, and refine solutions;
  • Collaborate with the Measurement, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team to track and assess outcomes;
  • Identify and manage risks to ensure initiatives stay on track, within scope and budget;
  • Communicate insights, research findings, and results to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Facilitate workshops and cross-functional collaboration to co-design locally led solutions;
  • Align all innovation efforts with Compassion's mission, values, and strategic goals;
  • Build and manage relationships with research and consulting partners as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Qualifications in International Development, Social Innovation, Public Policy, Education, Social Work, or a related field;
  • Strong experience applying Human-Centred Design and innovation methods to take ideas from concept to impact;
  • Proven ability to achieve results across multiple priorities while maintaining strong relationships;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills;
  • Confidence using digital tools, including mobile platforms and emerging technologies such as AI;
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing demands, and thrive under pressure;
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, and a collaborative approach;
  • Understanding of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and how it supports social innovation;
  • Knowledge of international development and a passion for creating lasting change for children and communities;
  • Experience in start-ups, social innovation, product development, or the not-for-profit sector;
  • Theological training or experience in Christian or faith-based organisations (desirable).
