We are currently recruiting a Senior Program/Project Manager to join our Major Projects Management Office (MPMO) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role can be based anywhere within our operational footprint.

In this pivotal role, you'll lead a specialist team of Master Schedulers to develop, implement and maintain scheduling and dependency management disciplines across major programs and projects, ensuring consistency, clarity, and coordination across the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of scheduling and dependency management standards, processes, tools, and reporting.
  • Liaise with Project Directors and other key stakeholders to guide the creation and maintenance of integrated master schedules for major projects and programs in Primavera.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of schedule governance, compliance and quality assurance mechanisms including health checks.
  • Coordinate the delivery of scheduling analysis, monitoring and reporting to provide valuable and timely project and program delivery insights to all key stakeholders and committees.
  • Coordinate the mapping and tracking of dependencies, including increasing visibility of intra and inter project and program level dependencies.
  • Mature and enhance scheduling, works programming and forecasting disciplines across the branch.
    Coach and mentor other team members in better practice uses of Primavera.

About You

As the Scheduling Team Leader , you will bring deep expertise in leading teams to develop, implement and maintain scheduling and dependency management disciplines across major construction and electricity infrastructure programs and projects.

You thrive in complex environments and are passionate about driving consistency and excellence in project and program delivery. You have a collaborative approach to managing complex initiatives and are confident in driving performance across diverse teams.

Required Qualifications/Skills

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, Project/Program Management, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Primavera certificate

Desirable:

  • Project/Program Management certification (e.g. PMI, PMP, or PRINCE2)
  • Advanced Primavera certificate
  • Driver's Licence
  • White Card

Experience:

  • Experience in a Portfolio Management Office or similar function.
  • Extensive scheduling experience on major construction and electricity infrastructure projects and programs.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement scheduling and dependency management standards on large scale projects.
  • Proficiency in Project Online, Primavera, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as MSP, PRINCE2, and PMBoK.

Skills:

  • Effective leadership and strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advanced skills in Primavera.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing scheduling and dependency disciplines across large-scale projects and programs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
    Effective communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder influence skills.
