Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
ResponsibilitiesAtlassian's portfolio is large and rapidly expanding with apps built by Atlassian, our marketplace partners, and, increasingly, individual makers using low code/no code (LCNC) tooling provided by us and others. As AI enables a proliferation of LCNC apps, it also presents an opportunity for users to interact with work irrespective of app boundaries - as an example think of an LLM using content from several apps to help you build a work plan in Jira, with the ability for you to access and modify that content without leaving the context of your Jira work.
The Cross-App Navigation team is at the intersection of these two trends as we build ways to connect people with work across, and independent of, app boundaries. As Senior Product Manager for Cross-App Navigation, you will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap for this exciting area. You will:
Define, articulate, and communicate a clear product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with your team and a wide range of product team stakeholders.
Explore new models for cross-app navigation and work across team boundaries to bring them to life
Balance forward-looking strategy with diligent execution on internal stakeholder needs
Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to high-quality standards.
Collect and evaluate user feedback to guide product decisions and enhance the overall user experience.
Leverage data and analytics to assess product performance, pinpoint areas for improvement or experimentation, and drive product decisions that align with organizational goals.
Conduct thorough customer research, market analysis, and competitive assessments to uncover potential opportunities.
Coordinate with other PMs and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of priorities and dependencies.
Your background
Demonstrated product management expertise gained from fast-growing B2B SaaS companies
Exceptional prioritization skills, adept at assessing opportunities in relation to the needs of our customers and our business, while effectively communicating the rationale behind your decisions.
Proven ability in cross-functional stakeholder management, driving your team towards achieving product objectives.
Strong instincts complemented by analytical thinking; comfortable making decisions based on both qualitative and quantitative data, and proactive in gathering that data.
Experience in translating complex technical trade-offs into clear, actionable product goals that resonate with customers.
A solid understanding of product usability, including how it is evaluated and how to guide the team in creating delightful user experiences.
A genuine passion for customer satisfaction; you actively seek out customer interactions to address their challenges, as it fuels your motivation, even when it involves difficult conversations.
Typically, product managers at this level at Atlassian have:
6+ years of product management experience
Computer science or a related technical degree
