The Role:
OrbitRemit is a leading global money transfer platform, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive the strategic development and growth of our core platform and user experience. This role is crucial for linking customer insights, market opportunities, and brand strategy to the product roadmap. You will be responsible for defining and delivering product features that maximize user acquisition, engagement, and retention, with a strong focus on the user funnel and conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and articulate the product strategy and roadmap for key areas of the OrbitRemit platform, aligning with the company's growth and marketing objectives.
- Conduct deep customer research (quantitative data analysis and qualitative user interviews) to identify pain points, opportunities, and unmet user needs in the money transfer journey.
- Develop a clear set of product metrics (KPIs) focused on conversion, transaction volume, and customer lifetime value (CLV), and hold yourself accountable for driving improvement in these areas.
Execution & Delivery
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation, definition, design, development, launch, and iteration.
- Write clear, concise user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria for the development team.
- Prioritize the product backlog effectively, weighing the needs of customers, the business (Marketing/Growth/Finance team), and engineering constraints.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure product launches are supported by effective go-to-market strategies, messaging, and campaigns.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as the bridge between the Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Collaborate with Engineering leads to manage technical debt and ensure scalable, high-quality implementation of features.
- Work with Design/UX to ensure a highly intuitive, friction-free, and delightful user experience, particularly around money transfer flows and sign-up.
What you'll bring:
Required
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a FinTech, e-commerce, or B2C platform environment.
- Proven experience driving measurable results related to user acquisition, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and A/B testing.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like GA4, Firebase, Clarity, Looker or similar product analytics platforms for data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex product decisions to executive leadership (CMO/CEO).
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Desirable
- Experience with international money transfer, cross-border payments, or financial regulatory environments.
- Experience reporting to a CMO or working closely with Marketing leadership on growth-focused initiatives.
- A strong technical understanding that allows for effective communication with engineers.
