An exciting opportunity exists to join the great team at SA's leading home improvement manufacturer, Olympic Industries, for a Production Welder based at our Factory in Para Hills West.
We are a proud South Australian family-owned and run business for over 50 years providing Carports, Garages and Sheds to domestic, rural and industrial markets throughout South Australia and interstate. We are a progressive company that has grown substantially over recent years and 2022 will see this continuing.
The Role:
The Production Welder reports to the Welding Supervisor and ensures that stock items requiring welding are produced within the set standards.
Essential Criteria:
- Mig Welding experience
- Hand and Power tool experience
- Superb organisational skills
- Be punctual and dedicated to your work
- Experience in manufacturing / production environment
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, environmental issues and safe work practices
- Able to pass a welding test
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
Desirable Criteria:
- Current fork lift licence
- Gantry Crane experience
- Able to read and interpret workshop drawing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 – $35.00 per hour
