Talent Focus Recruitment are hiring for a Customer Service Representative to work for a leading building materials supplier in Sydney. 2 office locations available - Liverpool or Alexandria.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 + Super

About the Role
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers - managing product enquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional service. You'll work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure orders are completed smoothly and customer needs are met efficiently.
This is a busy, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders received via phone, fax, and email
- Respond to customer enquiries regarding products, pricing, and lead times
- Prepare quotations and provide accurate product information
- Maintain strong relationships with customers over the phone
- Liaise with internal teams to follow up on orders and deliveries
- Assist in resolving customer issues promptly and professionally
- Spend a few days in the warehouse during training to familiarise yourself with the products
- Support the branch with general administrative and customer service tasks
About You
- Previous experience in customer service
- Experience in a similar industry (tools, building materials, fasteners, or industrial supplies) is highly regarded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling a high volume of calls (30–50 per day)
- Confident using computer systems and performing data entry
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a supportive team environment
