Waterproofing Compliance Inspector

Waterproofing Integrity provides specialist waterproofing inspection, testing, and compliance services across commercial and infrastructure projects. We help clients meet standards, avoid defects, and deliver long-term performance.
Due to strong growth across Victoria, we are expanding our team and seeking a Waterproofing Compliance Inspector to join our Melbourne operations.
This role reports directly to the Regional Manager and plays a key part in lifting industry quality and supporting our clients onsite.
About the Role
You will carry out onsite inspections, testing, and reporting on waterproofing systems across Melbourne (and occasionally regional Victoria). As the primary inspector for your projects, you will ensure compliance with waterproofing design requirements and Australian Standards.
Full training is provided, including equipment use, compliance interpretation, and reporting.
Package includes: competitive salary based on experience + vehicle allowance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned projects and clients autonomously
- Conduct onsite inspections and diagnostic testing
- Assess compliance with Australian Standards and project specifications
- Prepare clear, accurate reports for clients on time
- Build positive relationships with clients and project teams
What You Bring
- Knowledge of waterproofing systems and commonly used products
- Understanding of waterproofing standards and the NCC
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
- Competent computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to varying site demands
- Experience in commercial or infrastructure construction
Essential:
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence + reliable vehicle
- White Card
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Cert III in Waterproofing or hands-on waterproofing experience
- Industry tickets such as Working at Heights or Confined Space (or willingness to obtain)
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, building inspections, or similar
