We are seeking an experienced income tax accountant (intermediates/graduates/senior bookkeepers still encouraged to apply, with full time or part time positions available and the salary advertised will be negotiated on the basis of your situation) to join our great team and help service our existing clients here in Bunbury and the Southwest.

If you have the skills (or possibly haven't had the opportunity) you will have the opportunity to grow, develop and work directly with your own client base in a more distinguished medium sized accounting firm – there is a great scope for progression.

We offer a high level of service and we are looking for someone who is independent with several years' income tax experience, be able to consult confidently, prepare income tax returns, as well as have experience processing business activity statements and preparing financial accounts for all entities (including SMSF's). Internally we use Xero and Class, however we also have a lot of clients using MYOB and other software so a good working knowledge is beneficial.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with your own clients as well as work with the principal and other supporting team members. You must display the highest level of professionalism, have great people skills, strong written and spoken communication skills, a serious work ethic, good time management, be reliable and dependent with attention to detail. Most importantly, you need to suit our clients and fit in with our existing friendly team.

We predominantly look after small to medium (and large) sized businesses in a range of industries and also prepare salary and wage returns. Our business is continuing to grow (without advertising) and is a testament to the great work and personalised service being offered by our team. We want to continue to grow and attract great clientele and you will have the ability to grow your own client base accordingly and help shape your future and the future of the business.

We provide in-house training and we welcome new ideas as we continue to implement new processes and systems that will make both ours and the client's overall experience as streamlined and as efficient as possible. This will allow time to focus on building long-term relationships where you can make the most difference for the client as well as making it a rewarding career and help grow the business.
