We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified External Auditor to work in our busy company.
Some of the key duties you will be required to perform include:
- Develop and establish budgetary control and financial reporting processes and systems to ensure compliance with external financial reporting criteria
- Planning, conducting field work and completing external audit engagements to present to management for review including identifying and advising on financial risks
- Conduct independent statutory audits and prepare financial reports for a wide variety of entities including unlisted companies, proprietary companies, incorporated associations and other not-for-profit entities and government bodies
- Assess the risks and budgetary effectiveness of organisations' operational systems and procedures and preparing the relevant reports
- Provide advice on taxation planning and asset and debt management to assist with the meeting of financial reporting requirements
- Prepare complete and accurate audit work papers and programs through the collation and assessment of organisations' trading and financial positions and frameworks
- Develop and execute audit procedures, reporting criteria, and objectives to assist with the preparation and checking of statutory accounts prior to audit sign off
