Hours: 6:30am – 1:30pm, Monday to Friday

Centre Capacity: 94 Children

Privately Owned Centre

We are a warm, family-oriented and privately owned childcare centre catering for up to 94 children per day, and we're currently looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team

About the Role

As our Centre Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, child-friendly meals and snacks in line with dietary requirements and food safety guidelines. Your day will start early, allowing you to finish mid-afternoon—perfect for work-life balance

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare fresh, healthy meals and snacks for children aged 0–6 years
  • Cater for allergies, intolerances and special dietary requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen in line with Food Safety and Hygiene regulations
  • Order and manage food stock
  • Work collaboratively with educators and centre management
About You
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a childcare or aged care setting
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices (Food Safety Certificate preferred but not essential)
  • Friendly, reliable, and organised
  • Passionate about healthy eating for children
  • Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team
