About the role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Lawyer, Enhanced Police Support Scheme, to be part of our Employment and Safety Law Team in the Office of the General Counsel. The Senior Lawyer is responsible for the provision of high quality, ethical and professional legal representation, advice and support in employment related litigation, claims and disputes against the Commissioner of Police. The role involves workers compensation law, insurance, income protection, drafting, statutory interpretation, and appearances in the Personal Injury Commission and Industrial Relations Commission of NSW. Worker's insurance (or other insurance) and advanced statutory interpretation experience will be highly beneficial.
