About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated
Manager Work Health and Injury Prevention

Supporting the health and wellbeing of our people is more than a priority—it's central to our culture. This newly created role reflects our shift towards a proactive, prevention-focused approach, building systems that help our people thrive while delivering safe, high-quality care for children and families across WA.
Your ability think on your feet and inspire others will be key to success in this role. Reporting to the Director WHSW you will provide leadership and governance oversight of staff health, workers' compensation and injury management services. You will leverage data driven frameworks and partner with senior leaders and operational teams to embed injury prevention and support for the workforce, from their first contact with CAHS, and throughout their employment journey.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading injury prevention and rehabilitation frameworks, managing skilled teams of nursing and allied health professionals.
- Championing preventative health initiatives and proactive workplace strategies that reduce risk and support wellbeing.
- Providing expert consultancy in occupational health and workers' compensation management.
- Building capability across multidisciplinary teams, driving collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Developing and strengthening partnerships with WorkSafe WA, RiskCover, and ICWA.
- Ensuring policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks meet legislative and organisational standards.
- Developing, monitoring and reporting on health and injury management objectives and performance outcomes.
If you are you passionate about understanding the drivers for worker health and wellbeing, implementing prevention focused programs, and supporting people to recover and return to doing what they love, this is a unique opportunity to set the benchmark for excellence in preventative healthcare and rehabilitation.
What You'll Bring
If you are a forward-thinking leader with sound expertise in applying contemporary models of prevention and injury management and have an in-depth knowledge of WA WHS and Workers' Compensation legislation, we encourage you to apply. A background in public health, workers compensation or preventative health models will be highly regarded.
If you're ready to take on this challenge and be an integral part of that team, we want to hear from you
