We are looking for a 
talented SEO Specialist
 to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who is both analytical and creative, thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, and is excited about owning SEO strategies that deliver impact for a diverse range of clients.

Responsibilities

As our SEO Specialist, you will:

  • Develop and execute tailored SEO strategies for clients, aligned with business goals and KPIs.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis.
  • Optimise on-page elements including meta titles, descriptions, headings, and internal linking structures.
  • Oversee off-page SEO activities such as backlink analysis and outreach strategy.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.
  • Monitor website performance and rankings using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
  • Prepare monthly reports and present clear insights, recommendations, and ROI to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices — particularly Google's AI-driven search updates.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Emote's SEO frameworks, processes, and collateral.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone with:

  • 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
  • Proven experience 
    ranking websites effectively in the era of Google AI updates (SGE, Helpful Content, EEAT, etc.)
    .
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.) and Google Suite (GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager, Looker Studio).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to translate analytics into actionable insights.
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and Squarespace (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of broader digital marketing channels (paid media, social, email) is a plus.
