Senior Project Engineer Role

The Parklife Metro consortium is undertaking a transformative infrastructure project as part of the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport line.

This project includes six new stations, a stabling and maintenance facility, rail systems, and a fleet of driverless trains.

A Senior Project Engineer will oversee fit out works across station buildings, including architectural finishes, mechanical, electrical, fire, communications, and other integrated systems.

This hands-on delivery role manages subcontractors, safety, quality, and program to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Lead the delivery of station fit out works, including building services, finishes, facade interfaces, and architectural elements.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage construction programs, look-ahead schedules, and ensure alignment with project milestones.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, monitor site progress, and lead reporting to project management.

About You

Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in a senior engineer or project engineer role delivering fit out, services, or architectural packages on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Strong leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and high-level communication and stakeholder management skills.

Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, relevant Australian standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver station fit out works, managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and safe delivery.

Oversee construction programs, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines.

Monitor site progress, prepare and review technical documentation, and lead reporting to project management.
