Key Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the ContiTech Australia Operations Finance Team supporting the Financial Accounting team, there is a focus on monthly reporting and control processes providing accurate and reliable information to internal and external stakeholders. This role is a hands-on involvement with local operational and shared service teams. Tasks include the responsibilities as follows:

  • Month end Closing

  • Tax tasks

  • Cash and Banking activities

  • Company Credit Card system management (Expense Manager)

  • Support on local statutory & governance activities

  • Lease Accounting

  • Participating in internal and external audit processes

  • Working to improve processes and accuracy

Qualifications/Skills:

  • University degree, with major in finance or economics

  • 3-4 years' experience in the financial area, especially accounting, tax, cash/banking and employee claim sub areas

  • SAP skills on FI/CO module.

  • Proficient skills on office tools (Excel, word, Power point).

  • Local AU statutory and tax exposure is a must.

  • Experience in manufacturing background is a plus.

  • Experience in large corporation background is a plus.

Experience working with international teams and understanding of foreign cultures and diversity
