About the role

We are seeking a talented Architect/Building Designer to join our team in Melbourne, VIC on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality architectural drafting support to our growing design projects.

  • Immediate start
  • Working remotely (Optional)
  • Flexible 4-5 days a week

What you'll be doing

  • Producing 2D and 3D detailed architectural drawings, plans, and design documents using Revit software
  • Assisting with the development of project specifications and construction documentation
  • Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of design projects
  • Participating in site visits and meetings to gather information and understand project requirements
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest architectural design trends, building codes, and industry regulations

What we're looking for

  • A degree or diploma in Architecture, Building Design, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in architectural drafting or a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and well-organised drawings
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
