The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a diligent 1st or 2nd year Lawyer to join our
property
team in our Liverpool office. The. We are looking for an applicant who has a keen interest in this area of law
with opportunities for progression, within our growing
practice.

We expect that the successful applicant would:

  • possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships;
  • provide a high-quality client service;
  • be able to work in a team environment; and
  • have effective time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • assisting the Partners/Lawyers with managing purchase/sale matters from engagement to settlement;
  • working on corporate and domestic conveyancing matters;
  • liaising with clients, real estate agents and other law firms in regards to negotiation, exchange and settlement;
  • preparing handover memos to the conveyancer handling the matter;
  • drafting ancillary property documents under the supervision of the Partner/Lawyer;
  • drafting Contract Special Conditions under the supervision of the Partner/Lawyer;
  • drafting appropriate Deeds under the supervision of the Partner/Lawyer; and
  • drafting relevant licenses, lease backs and other relevant documents.
