The Role

We are seeking a construction and property development lawyer with litigation experience to support our client in the finance industry, through a period of high activity. Working closely with the Founder and Head of Legal, this role will involve advising across a range of construction, property development, financing, insolvency, and litigation matters.

The successful lawyer will be pragmatic, commercially minded, and confident handling a high volume of varied matters with minimal supervision. This is a hands-on, in-house style position where clear communication and a practical approach will be essential.

The role will initially require around
30 hours per week (approximately 5 hours per day)
for an
initial period of two months
, before reducing to
15–20 hours per week
for a further
18–24 months
.

On-site attendance at the company's Erina office is required
one day per week (ideally Tuesdays)
, with flexibility to work remotely for the remaining hours. The position is available for an
immediate start
.

Key Requirements

• Approximately
  3+ years' PQE
  , ideally at Associate level or above.
• Experience in
  construction, property development, and related dispute resolution
  matters.
• Sound understanding of
  financing, insolvency, and liquidation
  issues.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a
  practical, solutions-focused approach

• Availability for approximately
  30 hours per week initially
