The Whippet Club is opening its doors this October in the heart of Leederville — an all-day neighbourhood venue built around great food, relaxed drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere for families, friends, and locals alike.

We're on the lookout for a Head Chef with creativity, leadership, and passion to help shape a food program that celebrates quality, comfort, and community — from weekday lunches to weekend family gatherings.

You'll Be Responsible For:

• Designing and executing a crowd-pleasing, family-friendly menu
• Leading and inspiring a small but talented kitchen team
• Maintaining high standards across prep, service, and presentation
• Managing food cost, ordering, and day-to-day kitchen operations
• Creating dishes that suit all occasions — from quick bites to long table dinners

You Bring:

• Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous ready to step up
• Passion for flavour, quality, and creativity
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Confidence running a busy kitchen while keeping standards high
• Solid understanding of food safety, compliance, and cost control

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
