The Role

Location: Landsdale, WA 6065

Employment Type: Full-Time

We're currently seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Yardperson to join our Framing Division. This hands-on role plays a key part in the efficient handling, storage, and movement of steel materials and finished products. You'll support daily yard operations, help maintain a clean and organised work area, and ensure all orders are prepared accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a forklift to store and load trucks with truss and frame packs
  • Unload and store steel coils from delivery trucks into the factory
  • Pick and pack hardware components for scheduled jobs in advance
  • Assist with stocktakes, labelling, and general housekeeping of the factory and yard
  • Act as a point of contact for delivery drivers and ensure smooth despatch processes
  • Complete all required paperwork related to despatch and deliveries
  • Liaise with internal departments including Transport and Production teams
  • Assist with basic machine operation and frame assembly when required

About You

  • Proven experience in a yard, warehouse, or stores environment (experience in steel or manufacturing is highly regarded)
  • Currently forklift ticket with a minimum of 2 years' forklift operating experience
  • Strong personal initiative and proactive work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • High attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
