Trades Assistant/Yardsperson - Workshop

Our Opportunity

Due to continued growth, UWF is currently seeking Trades Assistants/Yardperson to join the team in Welshpool.

About the Role

  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing workshop preferred.
  • Holds a current Forklift ticket and Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Proactive and positive attitude.
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Perform general yard duties and housekeeping including cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard.

  • Supporting the day to day operations in the yard including deliveries when required

  • Assisting tradesman as required.

  • Forklift driving, overhead crane operation, and handling materials and equipment
  • Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading and unloading procedures.
  • Identifying improvements
