Duties

  • Be a proactive and passionate deliverer of all things compliance- the client does not view compliance as a form but a mantra and ethos
  • Manager compliance and regs for multiple funds & business entities
  • Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory requirements (APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, ATO).
  • Ensure policies and procedures align with obligations and best practices.
  • Support the incident and breach management framework, including registers and reporting.
  • Partner with business units to provide proactive compliance advice and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in monitoring and assurance activities, including reviews and control testing.
  • Prepare internal and external compliance reports (Board and Committees).
  • Oversee complaints management to ensure timely, effective responses.
  • Help embed compliance practices into day-to-day operations across the business.
Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years in funds compliance with strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance frameworks
  • An ability to business partner and provide effective oversight across multiple business units & Funds
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Relevant qualification is advantageous
