Tolling Operations Compliance & Reporting Analyst
The Tolling Operations Compliance and Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the integrity and efficiency of toll revenue systems within the Tolling Operations team. This position is designed for a detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in compliance, data analysis, and reporting, particularly in the context of billing and collection processes.
Once the road opens, the position will be responsible for the ongoing technical compliance, quality and reporting functionality within the Tolling Operations function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the setup of STC's tolling function by advising on business requirements that ensure compliance, quality assurance, and operational readiness.
- Provide expert tolling compliance and reporting guidance to support planning and delivery, while managing risks across billing, collections, payments, refunds, and interoperability.
- Analyse complex requirements and broader business context to develop practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Synthesise ideas across disciplines to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of tolling operations and reporting frameworks.
- Leverage available technologies to enhance data analysis, reporting accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
- Align tolling solutions with STC's strategic objectives and stakeholder needs to ensure long-term viability and compliance.
- Create and maintain clear documentation including billing and collection process maps, frameworks, and diagrams to support communication and operational clarity.

Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or a related discipline (required).
- Significant experience in billing tolling operations within industries handling high-volume, low-value financial transactions.
- Proven technical leadership experience in billing and collections functions, including compliance, reporting, interoperability, payments, collections, analytical skills, and experience in the tolling industry highly regarded.
- In-depth knowledge of multilane free flow tolling operations, with demonstrated expertise in developing policies and procedures for reconciliations, settlements, customer payments, and interoperability.
- Experience contributing to technology project delivery, providing specialist billing expertise in customer-sensitive, high-volume transaction environments.
