Role Description

We are seeking a Solutions Developer to join our team at finPOWER. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, testing, and documenting software functionality, resolving bugs and escalated issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our software systems. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software features and enhancements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Assist with internal testing and support escalations
  • Participate in sprint planning and workload estimation
  • Document development activities and follow defined standards
  • Engage in professional development and promote company values

Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with .NET stack (VB.NET or C#) and SQL Server (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery (highly advantageous)
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software, Git/version control, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop technical skills further
  • Must have the right to work in Australia without sponsorship
