Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you'll take ownership of critical activities that support the successful delivery of terminal optimisation projects in Fremantle. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager – Optimisation and the terminal leadership team, you'll ensure that integration and operational improvements are delivered smoothly on time, and in line with agreed project goals.

This is a role for someone who is organised, collaborative, and confident managing complexity. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, lead planning and execution, and provide day-to-day oversight on progress on site, risks, and resources. Your voice will be essential in driving alignment, keeping projects on track, and ensuring the bigger picture is never lost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project planning, scheduling, risk management and delivery
• Engage with operational, optimisation and terminal teams to track progress and ensure successful project delivery
• Manage project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies proactively
• Deliver project reporting, budget management, and stakeholder communication

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, IT, Finance, or related field (desirable).
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) highly regarded.
• Approx 5 years' experience in project management, ideally in Infrastructure Technology.
• Experience delivering projects involving software/hardware solutions and integration.
• Knowledge of Port Operations or Logistics is a plus.
• Strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Proficient in project management tools, MS Office, and PowerBI.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, logical, and self-motivated.
• Collaborative team player with a hands-on approach.
