About the role:
At Nioka, every shift is an opportunity to bring comfort, dignity, and compassion to patients and families during life's most vulnerable moments. Working in the Nioka Palliative Care Unit is deeply meaningful and emotionally rich. A typical day might include reviewing care plans, administering medications, supporting families, collaborating with allied health professionals, documenting care and creating a calm environment for our patients. No two days are the same, but every day is grounded in empathy, presence, and purpose. You'll witness profound moments, and you'll grow in ways you didn't expect. Nurses often say this role teaches them resilience, emotional intelligence, and a deeper understanding of life and care – if this is what you're after in your next role, we want to hear from you.

You will also be supported by the Registered Nurses, Nurse Unit Manager and clinical educators. You'll become part of a close-knit team - Staff here support each other emotionally and professionally.
