The Role

We are looking for both casual or permanent full time and part time Enrolled Nurses who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our 87-bed facility in Kempsey NSW. You must bededicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards. We have a range of shifts availableanda culture of high-levelempathy and compassion for our residents.

The Location

Kempsey, New South Wales, is a charming town situated on the Mid North Coast of the state. Known for its scenic beauty along the Macleay River, Kempsey offers a blend of natural landscapes and a rich cultural heritage.

What you will do:

- Reporting to the RN, you will lead the care team

- Coordinate care in an allocated section of home and ensuring care plan compliance throughout the shift

- Advising and allocating care staff

- Recognition and escalation of the deteriorating resident

- Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards

- Promote a positive resident experience through a resident-first approach

- Providing ADL care to residents

- Maintain documentation as per organisational standards

What you will bring

- Registration with the AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse is mandatory

- One-year of experience as a enrolled nurse in a residential aged care setting is desirable (new entrants will be considered)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Hold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain)

- Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
