Hays is partnering with a leading consultancy to find an analytically-driven associate consultant, across Data Analytics and Reporting.

You will join a close-knit team, collaborating and working together through daily reporting and analytical requests to help deliver insightful visualisations and reporting across the retail banking analytics. You will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders requesting strategic and performance requests from one-off reporting to projects across data analytics and insights.

Key accountabilities at a baseline:

  • Analytical, creative problem-solver, capable of working both within a team and independently
  • End-to-end customised mandatory and regulatory customer communication campaign delivery
  • Passionate about customers and the opportunity to build trust and customer advocacy through data-driven insights.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and focused on continuous improvement.
  • You share knowledge with other analysts across the team to cross-pollinate and lift the skillset across the team.
  • You look beyond the status quo to try new approaches and tools, thereby lifting the overall capability of the team.

We're interested in hearing from people who have

  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Tableau and Power BI including building and maintaining dashboards for storytelling with professional visualisations.
  • A well-demonstrated Insights and Analytics background
  • Proven experience in delivering complex projects using SQL tools, such as Teradata SQL.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, demonstrated by examples of concrete steps taken to ensure accuracy of results and data quality.
  • An interest in developing not only their skills, but also of those around them, in a collaborative and constructive manner.
  • A keen interest in keeping up to date with the latest data trends and technologies.
  • An inquisitive approach – someone who is able to challenge assumptions and contribute with ideas for improvement of processes.
  • Experience with other languages such as Python, R or SAS, or tools such as Alteryx is well regarded.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, or knowledge of Agile methodology.
