Optical Assistant/Dispenser - Part/Full Time

Leverett & Kindler Optometrists | Greensborough, VIC

We're expanding our team at Leverett & Kindler Optometrists and are looking for a naturally curious and caring Optical Assistant/Dispenser to join our independent practice.

This is a flexible role (4-5 days, 32-38 hrs per week) with weekend work optional - perfect for those seeking a family-friendly opportunity.

About the Role

You'll be the welcoming face of our practice, helping patients through their journey with us. Duties include:

  • Assisting with frame selection, lens fitting, adjustments, and repairs
  • Providing a warm, personalised experience for every patient
  • Handling administrative and reception tasks
  • Keeping the practice running smoothly and organised

What We're Looking For

  • Retail, admin, or customer service experience (essential)
  • Optical experience is welcomed but not required - we'll provide full training
  • Great communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Ability to build rapport and work as part of a supportive team
