We're expanding our team at Leverett & Kindler Optometrists and are looking for a naturally curious and caring Optical Assistant/Dispenser to join our independent practice.This is a flexible role (4–5 days, 32–38 hours per week) with weekend work optional - perfect for those seeking a family-friendly opportunity.

At Leverett & Kindler Optometrists, we've been delivering trusted eyecare and premium eyewear in Greensborough since 1966. Our patients value our personalised service, handpicked frames, and in-office lens lab that ensures quality and fast turnaround.

About the Role

You'll be the welcoming face of our practice, helping patients through their journey with us. Duties include:

  • Assisting with frame selection, lens fitting, adjustments, and repairs
  • Providing a warm, personalised experience for every patient
  • Handling administrative and reception tasks
  • Keeping the practice running smoothly and organised

What We're Looking For

  • Optical experience is welcomed, we'll provide full training.
  • Retail or customer service experience essential
  • Great communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Ability to build rapport and work as part of a supportive team
