About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Optical Dispenser / Assistant to join our friendly team on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on role where you will combine technical dispensing expertise with practice management responsibilities, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert optical dispensing services, including frame and lens selection, fitting, and adjustments.
  • Manage day-to-day practice operations, including patient bookings, stock control, and supplier coordination.
  • Deliver outstanding patient care, creating a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Assist in maintaining and presenting our premium eyewear collection.

About You

  • Experience as an optical dispenser
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centred care.
  • Technically savvy – confident using computer systems and digital tools.
  • Organised, reliable, and able to take initiative.
  • MUST have flexible availability across weekdays and Saturday
  • Use practice management software confidently – you should be comfortable with technology and systems as part of your daily workflow
