  • Answer incoming calls and enquiries, providing accurate information and escalating where needed.
  • Manage daily student attendance, including late arrivals, early departures and absences, ensuring all records are kept up to date and any anomalies are followed up.
  • Work closely with the wellbeing team to flag any concerns or patterns you notice through student interactions or attendance.
  • Provide support to the school nurse when they are unavailable, including basic first-aid admin, student sign-ins and communication with parents.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and maintain smooth front-of-house processes.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate school records and student information, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Support the setup and pack-down of school events, helping the broader team ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Provide support to wider areas of the school on an ad hoc basis

The ideal candidate

  • Experience working in an administrative or customer-focused role, ideally within a school or the broader education sector
  • Strong attention to detail, with the confidence to question information if something doesn't look right
  • Clear and professional communicator, able to engage with people at all levels
  • Able to prioritise, problem-solve and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office, with TASS (or similar student management system) experience preferred but not essential
