Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Career Threads Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We are looking for a creative and experienced Textile Graphic Designer to join our client in Inner Melbourne. You will be collaborating with the Womenswear brand Design team to develop prints and artwork for seasonal collections and assist with producing Sales assets. This role is a Permanent Part Time Position.

Job Tasks :

  • Understanding of print techniques - screen, rotary, digital

  • Adjust purchased prints to suit the needs of the collections (colour, scale, design)

  • Create new artworks using Photoshop/Illustrator

  • Create production ready print files

  • Create placement artwork for t-shirts, sweatshirts and knitwear

  • Liaise with Print Studio for any correction needed to artwork

  • Maintain digital print library

  • Attend showings with print studios

  • Create and revise CAD illustrations

  • Produce mechanical art (labels, buttons, tags)

  • Research trend forecast for season (colour, print, shape, fabrics)

  • Creating seasonal rangebooks & lookbooks (Summer/Winter)

  • Create seasonal cad boards

  • Create large scale VM posters for in-store usage

    What we are looking for :

  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of artwork & print techniques.

  • Experience in fashion required

  • Demonstrated skills with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines

  • Confident in CAD illustration

  • Photography and/or product styling experience is a bonus
