Your Role
As a Project Manager, you'll oversee the full life cycle of civil construction projects across Tasmania. You'll manage budgets, risks, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring safety, quality, and commercial success. You'll also be the key contact for clients, representing Spectran's values and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead civil projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Build and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering a strong team culture
- Manage contracts, budgets, schedules, and risk
- Ensure compliance with WHS, QA, and environmental standards
- Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Deliver outcomes that reinforce Spectran's reputation as a preferred contractor
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 5+ years in civil construction, ideally with experience on projects over $5M
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and the MS Office suite
- Construction contract knowledge
- Experience with clients such as TasWater, DSG, or TasPorts is a bonus
